Having discovered that an extraordinary and important musician was missing from AOL's "Jazz Sound Sampling Archives," I include here these gems, hoping they may turn a few people onto Bill Evans unique piano style. If you'd like to explore further, fortunately he left an enormous discography. With few exceptions, any CD you pick up will be excellent. The introductory snippets revealed here were extracted from three classic albumns. In each case, the sample reveals the opening bars of each piece
